We know we lost it at some point during that day, but all things considered, it could have been worse.

My husband and I would like to express our thanks and extreme satisfaction for the tours we participated in while in London. Both were beyond all our expectations.

On August 13th we were scheduled to take the tour that included Glastonbury but due to weather the tour changed and included Salisbury instead. Although disappointed about the change we were not at all disappointed by the trip. Our tour guide for the day, Steven , was outstanding and very personable. The amount of history and knowledge Steven shared with us was incredible which made our day even more enjoyable.

On November 15th we were scheduled for the tour of Dover, Canterbury and Leeds Castle. Imagine our surprise and happiness when we found out that Robert would once again be our guide for the day. Robert once again shared an incredible amount of history and knowledge with us and we thoroughly enjoyed this trip also.

Then to our surprise, upon returning home to the States we found that your company had credited us for the difference from the scheduling change from the first tour on the 15th. It is wonderful to do business with a company that is honest.

We toured with your company to Warwick, Stratford and Christchurch on May 29th this year. It has almost been 3 months since then and I still feel the need to let you know how much we all enjoyed your excellent tour guide Tim (I can’t remember Tim’s last name).

I have done a lot of traveling and had many tour guides through the years but Tim was far and away the best guide I’ve ever had. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable about all subjects discussed but he was able to connect with the young and the old. Tim seemed to enjoy himself as much as the rest of us!

I took with Ken from Yorkshire on July 27. David was adept at giving us
colorful but accurate background information ahead of time and then letting
us experience the site for ourselves. The tour was so well planned,
especially since it allowed us to get to Stonehenge before the big coaches
arrived--and the smaller vans allowed us to see sights along the way, such
as Silbury Hill and Marlborough. Our tour of Avebury was the highlight for
me since this ruin isn't hyped as much as Stonehenge but is larger and in a
beautiful natural setting. I only wish you offered the tour of Ham House and

We just returned from our trip to London, and wanted to contact you and tell you that out of four tours, our best experience was with your tour guide, Nick. He was our first tour guide, and set a standard that the others just couldn't live up to. (We also toured with British Shrinkers and Evans Evans.) We don't know Nick's last name, but he is planning on purchasing a canal boat for a residence. Nick was very organized, and was friendly and very knowledgeable. He was able to add so many interesting insights to the things that we saw.
I am a high school teacher in the U.S., and I was impressed by the fact that David answered all of our questions about everything, whether profound or rather stupid. We found ourselves comparing every other guide to him throughout the entire trip.
We will defintely be recommending youto everyone we know, thanks to our good experience with David. He really is an asset to your company.

Sorry it took so long for me to write, but I just wanted to let you know how wonderful our tour was. The tour took place on the morning of the London bombings, July 7. Our driver, David, with Astral Travels, was absolutely terrific. He let us know of the bombings right after we got out of Stonehenge. Naturally, we were all very upset and nervous. David kept us informed, but never panicked anyone. He went on with the tour with humor and a very professional manner. He even let some of us use his cell to call

I'm back home after my very busy five day trip to England, and I wanted to tell you that the "Stones and Bones" tour I attended on Tuesday was one of the highlights of my trip.

My sister-in-law and I enjoyed the entire itinerary very much. Although I was mostly looking forward to visiting Stonehenge, Salisbury Cathedral turned out to be the unexpected jewel of the day.

But I'm saving my highest compliments for our driver and tour guide. Our driver (whose name unfortunately I did not catch) was quite friendly and very professional and kindly went out of his way to get us back to our hotel quickly since we had theatre tickets for the evening. And Andrew, our tour guide, was simply the best guide I've ever encountered on any trip, anywhere. Actually, the term "Tour guide" does not do him justice - Andrew was a wealth of information, and I feel as if I took a mini British history course during the tour. Again, please extend my compliments to both of them.

I will recommend your company to everyone I know planning to visit Great Britain, and I hope to return sometime soon (hopefully with the rest of my family!) to participate in more of your tours. Also, I recommended you to the consierge at our hotel, Marriott Grosvenor House, before I left yesterday morning.

I have no objection to your adding my comments to your testimonials.I took your Stones and Bones Tour on May 15th, Sunday and thoroughly enjoyed the tour and have recommended it to others. I liked the unrestricted and informal atmosphere of the tour, the guide's (Tony's) treatment of us. There was a friendly and spontaneous atmosphere created by Tony. The information he provided us with was not overwhelming and our questions were answered. I found the size of the bus and number of passengers far superior to the giant tour buses that are generally offered. I especially liked the walk up in a hill in the beautiful countryside and seeing the crop circles.I just wish you would have gone to the Cotswolds, as well!

to enjoy on a future visit. Also must tell you that Graham was an

Harrington Hall, was not either widely aware of or 'selling' your tours - -

just have to add mine. We have visited London several times, but wanted to
get out and see the countryside this time. Are we ever glad we choose the
Bones & Stones tour to Salisbury, Stonehenge, Old Sarum, and Avebury. We
were picked-up right at the front door of our hotel, the mini-van was
comfortable, but best of all the guide (David) was just great. He really
knew his stuff and his delivery was excellent. Although he had done this
tour umpteen times, it seemed like he was seeing everything for the first

Hello, In early September I joined both the Culture Vulture Tour and the Stones and Bones Tour and just wanted to say thank you for two fantastic trips.I was originally booked in for the Special Access tour but due to problems with London transport I missed it and was most upset. When I rang your office to let you know what had happened I thought I had missed my one chance at seeing Stonehenge as I was due to go home the following night. However, the kind person I spoke to immediately booked me on the Stones and Bones Tour for the next day at no extra cost. I can't thank you enough for doing this for me. I was embarrassed at having missed it (and sorry at not being able to ring ahead of time because I was stuck on a bus). Stonehenge was one of the things I was most looking forward to seeing on my holiday and I'm so thankful that I didn't miss out after all. It turned out to be one of the best days of my tripI had a great time on both tours and if/when I make it back to England one day, I'll be sure to join another tour!

Aloha,

We returned to Maui on September 15, after visiting in the Midwest for a few days. I wanted to write as you requested, to let you know our reaction to the Inner Circle Stonehenge Tour.

Let me say that when we heard we were going with a group called Astral Travels, our hearts sank!. We had visions of some kind of "outer limits" experience. Indeed that was not the case! We cannot be complimentary enough for the quality of the tour and tour guide. The tour guide's name was Robert, and I think he must have a degree in archeology or some such preparation. He was extremely knowledgible. We appreciated his ability to separate fact from fancy yet clearly impart a respect and almost reverence for the history of the artifacts, and the unknown civilization that constructed the sites visited.

We enjoyed the small group which made the trip more pleasant. Robert also had interesting commentary on some of the areas we traveled through, especially liked the comments on the thatched cottages, and changes in agriculture of the area. We also appreciated his clearly stating that at some times he would not take questions in order to drive safely.

Your directions were quite clear as to how to meet up with the group. We were dropped a short block from our hotel upon return.

We look forward to returning to Great Britain at another time, and to be sure, we will contact your company for further tours.

Thank you so much for enhancing our travel experience. I take the liberty of attaching one of our pictures. It was an interesting experience coming from the "rainbow isle" as we do, to have a wonderful rainbow photo op!

Kirsty,I didn't know how to reach the main office or owner of Astral Travels, so I was hoping you could relay my message???This is Becky Sydney. May husband and I just got back to Hawaii (where we live) from an extended vacation in France and England.
I had the TIME OF MY LIFE and must give credit to Astral Travels and especially, the tour guides for the Stonehenge Tour, Tony and David.
We easily booked our tour on-line for Aug. 2 - the Sunrise Stonehenge Tour and had personal assistance, both email and telephone, from Kirsty, who informed us of pick up times and helped us choose a hotel that was convenient. She was very helpful and informative. Although the pick up time was quite early (for our usual night owl standards) - 5:15 am, the Tour Driver was promptly there at 5:15am! We met Tony and was on our way. When we read the description of this tour, we assumed the sunrise would happen AT Stonehenge not while we were driving there. Looking back, I'm glad we weren't at Stonehendge for sunrise, we would have had a 3:30am pick up and I'm not thrilled about that! hee, hee, hee.We stopped for coffee and breakfast at a roadside food court which gave us an opportunity to talk with Tony. I asked him if we would see any crop circles (my true passion) near Stonehenge and he said 'no' that they were the other direction and after Stonehenge, the tour was going to Salisbury. I was very disappointed - since I was informed that we'd probably see some. Watching my excitement deflate, Tony suggested an idea ....that if I could convince everyone on the Tour bus to see Crop Circles, instead of Salisbury, he would try and drive by some for us. With a surge of lightning, I immediately introduced myself to the others on the Tour and asked if they would like to see Crop Circles and perhaps Avebury Henge......they all said YES!, emphatically. Everyone seemed to have an amplified excitement and the group energy was super positive and intrigued.I thank Tony sooooo much for this opportunity!! It was truly, the best experience of the entire trip and has made THE BEST TOP 3 EXPERIENCES OF MY LIFE list. I would like to personally thank the Owner or Office Manager of Astral Travels, who permitted the change of schedule for Tony and us, for his/her flexibility, understanding and pursuit of guest satisfaction. I will recommend your business to everyone!My husband and I would also love to thank David, the other Tour Guide, for his exceptional narrative of Stonehenge, it's history and mystery. Glastonbury, and Avebury.When I was younger and visited England, I took a number of tours and,
eventually, tired of them. In fact, I had become quite critical and it was
with some trepidation that I signed up for this one...however:1), The minibus was comfortable and the fact that you limit the number of
people per tour is great, 2) the tour went places that I actually I wanted
to go and there were no unwanted stops for shopping, 3) it was well paced
with enough time for a layperson-tourist such as myself to enjoy the sites
without being hurried or being bored.Our driver-guide was David (I'm sure he has a last name but I never found it
out) and his enthusiasm for what he was doing coupled with a very good
knowledge of what we were seeing made this trip one of the best I have taken
in a long time. He was neither ignorant nor cloying and it seemed to me
that he was enjoying the trip almost as much as we were. Also, even though
he drove on the wrong (i.e. left) side of the road, his driving was both
skilled and safe.So thank you for a wonderful day. I will recommend your company to all of my

much we enjoyed it. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and showed great initiative
when we arrived at Stonehenge and the tour had not been booked. We were able
to tour the site, and it was a memorable experience.Having returned home, we discovered that we left a package on the bus. My daughter
had bought a children's book and a book about cats at Salisbury Cathedral gift shop.
We're sure it was left in the overhe compartment near the back where we were seated.
Has it been turned in? If so, can I send you the cost of posting it to us, along with
the cost of your time? They aren't particularly valuable of themselves, but she had

Katie, our 7 year old, hated most of the things we did during our vacation.But she has repeatedly said that she would like to go back to "that big hill" (Glastonbury Tor).The small size of the group made for a welcome change from the "mass market" tours that we had done previously. We just wanted to send a note to tell you how much we enjoyed our tour with Astral. On Friday, September 18, 1998 we took the Magical Tour with Nick as our tour guide. Of the 10 days we spent in London, that tour was by far the most enjoyable day of our trip. Nick was very knowledgeable of the area covered by the tour, and added a lot to the trip with the stories he told and the music and tapes he played in the bus. He reminds me of a good waiter in a restaurant. He always seems to know when to be there to help you and add to your experience, but doesn't dominate the tour or interfere with your ability to enjoy it. He points out the things you need to see or do, and then gives you plenty of time and latitude to go enjoy those things for yourself. That gave my wife and me a chance to walk around and discuss the things we were seeing. Due to an accident a couple of years ago, my wife was not able to walk up Glastonbury Tor. Nick found other things for her to do in that area, and kept her entertained while the group made the walk. Because of his help during this time, she was just as excited about the other things she did that she didn't at all feel like she missed anything. We also discussed the fact that the tour was a great value for the money we spent. The fees included everything but the souvenirs we bought. You have a great thing going. It was really nice to get away from the bustle of London and have a relaxed but informative tour of the Wessex area. Your comfortable mini-bus picked us up right on schedule, and delivered us back to South Kensington just a few steps from our hotel. The pub lunch was pleasant, and the time allotted for each stop was adequate - we packed a lot in but didn't feel rushed.
